Nigerian rapper LADIPOE and Burna Boy-signed artist Buju have provided us with a fresh set of visuals for their huge collab, “Feeling”.
Since its release last month, “Feeling” has proved popular with fans overseas and has racked up a whopping 18.5 million combined plays and also became the first song to go to Number 1 in Nigeria on YouTube without a music video.
A huge part of the song’s success is due to the uplifting feel of the song – an element that is reflected in the visuals which capture young versions of LADIPOE and Buju who appear in good and carefree spirits.
“My favourite thing about the video is reflecting on how we were once those kids,” LADIPOE said of the visuals, “so oblivious and happy to everything going on around us.
“I would always watch my favourite music videos and imagine what it would be like if it was me.”
