In case you didn’t notice, Potter Payper dropped 5 videos in the space of about 6 weeks. This is impressive for any artist, let alone one who isn’t on a promotional run for a project or single. After sending so much lyrical fire our way, we felt it necessary to put together a recap for those that may have been living under a rock.
Starting on April 15th, Potter dropped the video for his track “MIA” which is a single taken from his album ’24’, available from iTunes here. “MIA” was followed up just 3 days later when, on April 18th, we were blessed with a brand new freestyle on Westwood’s show on Capital Xtra.
Just ONE day later on April 19th, Not For The Radio [NFTR] dropped an exclusive NFTR Potter Payper freestyle to their YouTube channel. Skip forward a little to May 7th and again Potter Payper popped up with yet another freestyle – this time appearing on DJ MK and Shortee Blitz’s show on Kiss FM. And finally on May 31st Charlie Sloth premiered the brand new “Ambition Freestyle” on BBC 1Xtra.
Having also featured on Stana’s ‘H.M.P Hear My Pain‘ Mixtape in early May, and dropping numerous freestyles before April, it’s safe to say that Potter might have one of the highest work rates this year so far; a work rate that is paying off, it seems, with Potter recently becoming Verified on his Twitter Account .
