Long-time collaborators Nike and Liberty of London are back this year for another intricate, clean collaboration.
As with each release, the shoe’s key pattern is taken from a vintage liberty fabric design, this time featuring the British Brand’s rare Merlin print, designed for a silk scarf in 1972. This print is much less floral than previous releases, consisting of colourful circles and concentric squares, and appears against clean white modern and old-school Nike silhouettes as well as a few pieces of apparel.
The shoe does as Nike says perfectly, “intersecting past and present to create something completely original.”
