A guy in Arizona who had tweeted about killing his roomates was allegedly arrested two days later for murdering one of his roomates.
21-year-old Zachary Penton tweeted on Friday night that he was close to “viciously murder[ing]” his housemate if he didn’t move out of their house. He followed this up by tweeting about a fight two of his housemates had gotten into over a bee sting.
Then, on Sunday night, Zachary called the police and admitted he had shot his roomate, after they got into a disagreement on Sunday night. Penton was swiftly taken into custody and held under murder charges at Maricopa county jail, while the victim, 41-year-old Daniel Garofalo, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police told ABC 15 that they are currently “looking into the possibility” that the Twitter account might belong to Mr Penton.
