Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the highly anticipated final trailer for Blue Beetle, the forthcoming film that introduces the DC superhero to the silver screen.
Directed by Angel Manuel Soto, the movie showcases Xolo Maridueña in the lead role, portraying both Jaime Reyes and his alter ego. The story revolves around Jaime, a recent college graduate brimming with ambition as he returns home. However, he soon discovers that his familiar surroundings have undergone unexpected changes. Amid his quest to find his purpose in life, fate takes an extraordinary turn when Jaime stumbles upon an ancient artefact known as the Scarab, a relic of alien biotechnology. The Scarab unexpectedly selects Jaime as its symbiotic host, bestowing him with an awe-inspiring suit of armour imbued with incredible and unpredictable powers. Thus, Jaime’s destiny transforms forever as he assumes the mantle of the superhero Blue Beetle.
