Her latest single comes off the soundtrack of 2024’s film The Colour Purple, taking a soulful turn as the songstress is joined by a gospel choir, who deliver the tracks soothing backing vocals. “Finally” expresses the importance of self-love as we’re taken on a journey of despair transitioning into happiness. It’s been a successful backend to the year for Jorja Smith, who peaked in the top three of the U.K charts with her second studio album Falling Or Flying.
