Elevation marks the eleventh album from Fliptrix—founder of High Focus Records and one quarter of The Four Owls. Across 19 tracks, the project continues his prolific run, expanding on a worldview rooted in growth, awareness, and the pursuit of higher collective consciousness for both artist and listener.
Despite a long-standing creative relationship spanning over 15 years—working together on mixing, mastering, and various collaborations—it’s the first time Fliptrix and Forest DLG have come together for a full-length joint project. Elevation is the result of that long-awaited union.
Looking to move beyond the boom bap foundations of his previous release Dragonfly, Fliptrix approached Forest with the intention of creating something sonically distinct. When Forest delivered a batch of more than 70 instrumentals, the direction quickly took shape. The finished record is designed to elevate and inspire, encouraging deeper reflection on the state of the world while aiming to spark dialogue and positive change in uncertain times.
