RIP Cadet: Rapper Passes Away Aged 28

Our friend Cadet – real name Blaine Cameron Johnson – has passed away at the age of 28.

He is believed to have been on his way to perform at a show when he was involved in a fatal car accident in the early hours of this morning (9 February).

A statement was issued by Cadet’s family on the rapper’s Instagram account.

“We the family of Blaine Cameron Johnson otherwise known as Cadet (Underrated Legend) would like to share the sad news that during the early hours of 9th February 2019 he passed away as a passenger in a taxi, en route to a performance”, the statement reads.

“Right now we the family appreciate your patience and will share with you any information as and when we can”.

Cadet began rapping as a teenager but he rose to fame in recent years with his big tracks such as “Letter To Krept”, “Uber Everywhere Freestyle” and “Advice” with Deno.
