Consistent hit-maker Not3s released the sequel to his hugely popular EP Take Not3s last Friday; and it has gone straight into the top 20, scooping the number 16 spot. Take Not3s 2 has taken the number 16 spot in style, as we haven’t even been blessed with a lead single or a video just yet. Although we’d wager a “Just Fine” video isn’t far off, and after exchanging a few tweets, it’s safe to say that we’re definitely going to be getting some visuals for “Trekked Like Me” with AJ Tracey.
Not3s has been an omnipresent force over the last six months, featuring on both Rated Award nominated projects Diamond in the Dirt and Tables Turn its clear the East London sensation is here to stay.
Another one of Not3s’ killer features is his wavey summer collab with AJ Tracey “Butterflies” which has climbed two places on last week, now at number 21. One spot above is Skeppy and A$AP Rocky with “Praise the Lord” a non-mover from last week. “Oh My” from Dappy and EM continues to make good progress in the charts, and has moved up to number 25.
Its another great week for Drake in the charts. He is still in the driving seat sitting at number one in both the album and single charts. Scorpion remains at the top spot of the album charts and 2 of his singles from the album are within the top 10. This will be Drakes third number 1 single of 2018, the Drake dominance of the charts continues.
Childish Gambino has entered the charts at number 30 with “Summertime Magic”, after performing the song for the first time at Bilbao BBK Live. This song should be a climber in the up and coming weeks.
Just missing the top 10 is Cardi B’s catchy hit “I Like It”. After a strong 15 weeks in the charts the song positions at number 11 after a few weeks in the top 10. Her album Invasion Of Privacy is still in the album charts charting at number 36.
“079Me” from B Young and the collaborative efforts from Hardy Caprio and One Acen “Best Life” have both climbed up from the depths of the charts to within touching distance of the top 40, again this is no doubt due to the recent inclusion of Youtube views on the charts.
We’re sure to see plenty more of our favourite UK artists doing numbers in the Official top 40, to see who exactly, be sure to keep it locked on GRM Daily.
