Twin (Alex Boateng) named president of Island Records UK urban division

It’s a win for our culture, as Twin aka Alex Boateng has become the new president of the urban division over at Island Records.

He follows in the footsteps of the departing Darcus Beese OBE, who has stepped down from his current role and is moving to a similar one in the New York office.

Congratulations to both, as they look to continue pushing the music culture we love into new stratospheres. Here’s to the next chapter!
