It’s been a while since Yeezy dropped his 9/10 album ‘The Life of Pablo’ and you might be wondering; how well did it do?

Since it’s only recently been made available to stream via Spotify and Apple Music, alongside it’s release platform Tidal, you’d think that it’s audience would be quite limited, right? Wrong.

In its first 10 days of restricted listening, ‘The Life of Pablo’ was streamed 250 million times. That number doesn’t include the number of people who didn’t hurriedly subscribe to Hov’s streaming service after the album dropped and instead chose to illegally download the album from elsewhere. Think of all the debt he could’ve wiped out with those first week stats!

On top of a new release with Sampha, an honest and avant-garde track, Kanye chose to release “Famous” as the first single from the album to be made available across other platforms, the controversial, Rihanna-featuring smash. The remainder of the track list wasn’t far behind and is now available for stream on your favourite streaming sites. In fact, if you check out the latest versions of the album, several of the tracks have undergone facelifts, with some minor edits peppered throughout.

It’s still not available for sale on iTunes, though, which begs the question: will Kanye ever put this album up for sale?
