Find out what UK rappers made the BBC’s Sound of 2018 longlist

The BBC have dropped their annual “Sound of…” list, predicting the newest musicians most likely to have big years next year.

Joining the list from our scene is Rated Awards Best Newcomer Not3s, who’s had a crazy year this year and just made it into the top 40, as well as Rated Award nominee Yxng Bane. UK R&B singer IAMDDB made it on to the list too after her single “Shade” led to her making big waves this year.

Last year’s winner Ray BLK was on the 2018 panel alongside previous nominee Stormzy. The list also features obscure artists alongside artists like Khalid who has already had a huge year, reaching No 4 on the US charts.
