Piers Morgan is at it again on twitter, last night dropping one of his most controversial tweets to date.

He’s was referencing an article he wrote for the Daily Mail which has just been published, in which he discusses a video which went viral last week of white sorority girls in America singing along to Kanye West’s “Gold Digger”, chorus without any censoring. In the article he argues that the girls aren’t at fault here, Kanye is for writing the lyrics.
To say he got people mad at his flippant use of the word of his tweet, and sense of entitlement, is an understatement.

Some of the highlights from his actual article are perhaps even more outrageous, including, “To me, there is no difference between ‘n****r’ and ‘nigga’.
“They sound exactly the same, and are therefore open to permanent confusion and the exact same capacity to offend.”
This is after tweeting that exact word to his 6.11 million followers.
Piers’s name was trending on twitter in the States and the UK after this, which is exactly the outcome he would have hoped for, whether the reaction to his tweet was positive or not is irrelevant to a journalist like him who is seemingly obsessed with the shock factor.
Only time well tell if Morgan will face any real consequences for the article and tweet. His insensitivity in the article is truly shocking and is sure to provoke more backlash yet. Check for any updates on GRM Daily.
