XXXTENTACION is a name you’ve probably heard floating around a lot since the turn of the year.
Following a slew of headlines, ranging from Drake allegedly stealing his flow on the Gigg-featuring anthem “KMT”, to fights at his live show, to deeply disturbing allegations from a pregnant woman, his name has firmly been in the mouths of most American hip-hop fans.
His viral hit “Look At Me!” recently turned platinum stateside and he’s decided to celebrate by releasing the official music video.
While it begins as the kind of standard, high-energy visual we’d expect, XXXTENTACION switches up the song after less than a minute into something much more powerful. The song cuts short and instead we get a video for his deep cut “Riot”, which features some shocking lynching imagery, as well as a surprising level of lyricism from the polarising star.
