If you have half an interest in grime, you should be fully aware of the recent Dot Rotten and P Money beef, which has seen a volley of dubs coming from either side in what is one of the scenes greatest clashes ever.
P Money has taken some time out to link Grime Report in order to discuss the beef. He said, “It’s not a battle of abilities, it’s turned into proving right, proving wrong.”
.Although he doesn’t site Dot as his toughest opponent, with many of us remembering that great bout between P Money and Ghetts, P does admit ,”Dot’s definitely cold.”
P then goes onto explain how “it weren’t about who wins, it’s just been sick” and that “everyone’s getting 100k views in a day, that ain’t been happening for time within grime”.
There can be no doubt that these kind of bouts are healthy and spark a lot of interest for the scene, however P does make some relevant points in that animosity can also create problems for the scene in how it is viewed by the mainstream and the authorities who have beens at odds with grime from the start.
