If you don’t pay for Tidal, then there’s a strong chance you never got to see “The Story Of OJ” video, or perhaps even listen to Jay Z’s new album 4:44 altogether.

Thankfully, Hov has now freed up the official video for everybody online, for one of the album’s most powerful tracks. The clip is an black and white animated joint featuring Warner Brother-esque characters in an old school New York setting with a focus on race and a sample of Nina Simone’s “Four Women”.

Speaking on the song himself, Jay Z said, “[It’s] really a song about we as a culture, having a plan, how we’re gonna push this forward. We all make money, and then we all lose money, as artists especially. But how, when you have some type of success, to transform that into something bigger.”

Take in the official video for “The Story Of OJ” above now on GRM Daily, before heading right here to deep 4:44 in it’s entirety.
