After a viral marketing campaign, as well as a hell of a lot of confusion as to what it actually is, Jay Z has confirmed that 4:44 is indeed his brand new LP.
It will be the legendary veteran’s 13th solo LP and his first since he released Magna Carta Holy Grail all the way back in 2013.
The adverts were initially speculated to be a new Jay Z album, before a trailer featuring Mahershala Ali and Danny Glover led many to believe it would be a TiDAL exclusive new movie.
Now fans finally have the confirmation that 4:44 will be packed full of new music from Hov, and the new trailer features a preview of a track called “Adnis”, as well as revealing its June 30th release date.
