Former England Cricketer and A League of Their Own star Freddie Flintoff will host a new water-based game show alongside the ever-popular Maya Jama.
Some know Maya from her time working with Copa 90, whilst many will know her as chart-topper Stormzy’s long-term partner, this opportunity is a much-deserved prime-time TV spot for the energetic personality.
The game show Cannonball will start shooting later this month and will pit contestants against each other in challenges focusing on accuracy, speed, height and distance. As the title suggests, the show also involved finalists launching themselves out of a cannon and onto a moving target. Nice.
Maya will host alongside Flintoff as well as singer Frankie Bridge, Radzi Chinyanganya and comedian Ryan Hand.
