The US Pentagon has admitted that an air strike in Mosul in Northern Iraq has killed 200 civilians.
In a statement released by the Pentagon, the air strike targeted ISIS fighters and equipment. Described as a “humanitarian disaster” by Iraqi Vice President Osama Nujaifu, this incident adds to the 220 civilians that have been killed by Pentagon attacks since 2014. Sources in London fear that the number may in fact be closer to 3,000.
With the amount of media attention the Westminster attacks received last week, it’s actually mad that no one is talking about this. The incident is being touted as the deadliest strike attack in three years, with United Nations officials confessing that they are “profoundly concerned”.
