This week on the Halfcast Podcast, Chuckie and Poet discuss America, racism and George Floyd – an unarmed black security guard who died after a white police officer knelt on his neck in Minneapolis, U.S last week.
Chuckie opened the video with Bob Marley’s famous track “Crazy Baldhead” which is centred around the police and the system. Released in 1976 the lyrics are still sadly relatable over 40 years later.
On the latest episode, Chuckie suggests that America needs to start over again as they address the current state of the country and the videos that have hit social media showing racism in American and here in the UK.
