The Weeknd can now add script-writing to his list of accomplishments after announcing that he co-wrote an episode for one of Seth MacFarlane’s most popular shows, American Dad!
The Canadian singer took to Instagram to share the news with his fans by posting a picture with the episode’s co-writer, Joel Hurwitz.
He captioned the photo, “Me and this guy wrote an episode of American Dad” before adding that he will also be voicing his own character in the animated sitcom.
It has also been reported that The Weeknd will also have an original new track featured in the episode.
The 30-year-old “Blinding Lights” singer recently dropped his fourth studio album, After Hours, so it’s no surprise that he has been busy with even more projects.
The new season of American Dad! starts on the 13th of April with the Weeknd’s episode expected to drop on the 4th of May.
