Krept and Konan are back with their fourth project and second studio album with their latest release titled Revenge Is Sweet. With singles such as “I Spy” and “G Love” giving the early vibes of the project before the release, the rest of the pieces have now been filled in for the 13 track album.
The thirteen tunes stretch to forty-five minutes and we get to hear a combination of the different sounds which Krept and Konan have given us over the years. The opening tune, “Goat Level”, comes with plenty of energy as the duo hit the intense instrumental with straight facts as they really do break down why they own their GOAT status.
Other stand-out tracks come from their title track “Revenge Is Sweet”, as we hear a bouncy and more laid back vibe as the wordplay and story telling abilities from the pair shine through effortlessly. Track 12 is one to be taken in as the skit, “Before It’s Too Late” gives an emotional account and story of mental health and suicidal thoughts.
The album is blessed with some star-studded features as we hear collaborations with Stormzy and Cadet on “Keep Talking”, along with other tunes with Tory Lanez, Mostack, D-Block Europe, Wizkid and more.
