Season three of Top Boy is finally here and accompanying its release is a brand-new soundtrack inspired by the series.
Set on the fictional estate named Summerhouse in London, Top Boy is a gritty crime drama series which details some of the activities which exist in the underbelly of the Capital and painting a picture of the city on the soundtrack are some of London’s best artists.
The Top Boy soundtrack is full of different styles exhibited by Nafe Smallz kicking things with “Riding On E”, Headie One coming through with his striking drill sound on “Hard To Believe” and Little Simz delivering her lyricism on “Venom”. Also making appearances on the project are the likes of Dave, Fredo, Ghetts, M Huncho, Youngs Teflon and more.
Although the soundtrack is dominated by London natives, we do see Jamaica’s Popcaan and Quada, as well as Canada’s Baka and Drake – who is an executive producer of Top Boy – feature on the record.
