Apple’s brand-new credit card is set to be launched to the public in August, the company’s Chief Executive has confirmed.
Tim Cook made the announcement after Apple’s quarterly results were revealed.
Apple Card will offer consumers “clearer and more compelling” benefits than its rivals, and the service will also allow users to connect with Apple’s Wallet app.
The card will also separate purchases into groups, showing consumers categories such as entertainment, food and shopping. Unlike other credit cards, Apple have said their card won’t have any annual fees.
The Apple Card was first announced back in March, alongside other major Apple announcements, where the company said the service will work as both a digital card as well as coming with a physical titanium card.
The service will be launched next month in the U.S., before being rolled out to other nations at a date which is yet to be confirmed.
