Driver allegedly caught watching porn whilst driving train

Commuters on a South Western Railway train were treated to some unusual onboard entertainment earlier this week as their driver played porn over the train’s loudspeaker.

Usually used for announcements or to advise travellers to “mind the gap”, the internal speakers instead played audio from an explicit film for several minutes as the train travelled to London’s Waterloo station after several delays.

The incident was captured by a commuter and uploaded to Twitter. Check out the video below which shows the peculiar and awkward commuter moment.

South Western Railway released a statement addressing the matter but did not explain if the porn or the driver’s preoccupation was what caused the train’s delayed arrival to Waterloo station.

South Western Railway described the incident as “’wholly unacceptable’ and said in their statement, “We have a policy of blocking inappropriate material, including pornographic websites, on our onboard and station WiFi services. We are investigating this incident to establish how this material was broadcast on our service. Today’s incident is wholly unacceptable and we apologise to customers.”
