Director Oliver Jennings has presented us with his new documentary, Going In.
Described as a documentary which explores “the trauma, passion and aspiration in the stories of four UK rap artists”, Going In is a 20-minute film focusing on the lives of Tiny Boost, Steel Banglez, Tunde and Stoner.
Using a grainy 16mm aesthetic, Jennings looks at how each of the four guys have turned their past struggles into wins within the music industry. Boost, Banglez, Tunde and Stoner all reflect on their come-up, while also shedding light on their graft and hustle – with their stories resulting in an inspiring film.
Announcing the doc on Instagram, Jennings wrote: “This is a film about real U.K. Rap and the struggles and lives behind the music. This is something I’ve wanted to make forever so I’m looking forward to sharing it.”
