The trailer for the highly-anticipated movie Coming 2 America has finally been released!
Serving as the follow-up to the 1988 classic, Coming 2 America sees Eddie Murphy reprise his role as Prince Akeem to bring us more laughs in the comedy film.
An earlier synopsis for the film stated the film is “set after the events of the first film” where “former Prince Akeem Joffer (Eddie Murphy) is set to become King of Zamunda when he discovers he has a son he never knew about in America – a street savvy Queens native named Lavelle (Jermaine Fowler). Honoring his royal father’s (James Earl Jones) dying wish to groom this son as the crown prince, Akeem and Semmi (Arsenio Hall) set off to America once again.”
In addition to the returning characters, the film will also include appearances from Wesley Snipes, Teyana Taylor, Rotimi, Tracy Morgan and more.
