North London’s RV has released a brand-new mixtape titled Rico Vondelle.
While most of us are used to hearing RV on heavy-hitting drill tracks, he demonstrates his versatility on this project and presents us with the introspective intro “Look At Me”, the sentimental “Held On” with MORGAN and the head-bopping joints “X On My Back”, “Snoochie Shy” and “Proper” featuring Abra Cadabra.
However, we do still hear RV shell on drill on “Gifted”, “Moonwalk Slide” with Chip and Backroad Gee, “Bill It” alongside K-Trap”, “Drip Sensei” featuring Frosty and “Back To Back” with his partner in crime Headie One. We also receive more guest appearances from Yxng Bane, Ramz and 169.
It’s been two years since we got our last solo project from RV, who dropped Savage in 2019, and Rico Vondelle is a solid follow-up and you can take it in in full below before checking out the video for “Steady” here.
