The Academy of Contemporary Music has just made history by launching the UK’s first Rap and MC degree.
With applications being accepted now, the course will begin this September and will be available at both of ACM’s campuses in Guilford and Birmingham.
Speaking on the course, the CEO and Executive Chairman of ACM, Kainne Clements, said: “I could not be more proud of the team at ACM who have put together this incredible programme for lyricists, rappers, MCs, and those of you who want to make beats.
“You know that you can really only get to where you want to be by collaborating – so that is what this is all about, and I cannot wait to see what happens next.”
The Rap and MC degree will be led by the award-winning artist ShaoDow, who has helped curate modules for the course which will focus on lyricism, flow, delivery and more.
