We’ll start this week with an intriguing pack from Puma in collaboration with streetwear pioneers. The ICNY x Puma “Ignite Pack” comes in two bright colourways, Mint and White. They are specially curated to be excellent running shoes while also keeping your feet buff. The shoe holds IGNITE Foam on the midsole which provides supreme cushioning for your feet, and the upper features 3M reflective material in a smooth pattern, which is iridescent in the dark when light is shone on it. The shoe is finished with a speckled midsole and even speckled laces. They are available on Saturday 12th September for around £115 from ICNY’s website, Hanon and Puma.
Next up we have a surprisingly low-key release from Nike, in the form of a new Jordan 1 colourway. The Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle Vachetta Tan is put together with a premium Tan leather base, and features bronze plated detailing on the back heel, tongue, eyelets, logo and lace locks. Grab a pair on the 26th of September from Nike, END, Footasylum and Size? amongst other retailers.
Finally we have an unusual collaboration from Diadora and none other than Raekwon. The Packer Shoes x Raekwon x Diadora N9000 Purple Tape is a dedication to Raekwon’s album “Purple Tape”, which was released on purple cassette in 1995. The shoe is comprised of soft suede panels over a mesh base, which sits on a translucent midsole and even features the track listing from the album on the insole and 1995 embroidered onto the heel of the shoe. The brands have fully turned the tape into a shoe with the addition of Parental Advisory stickers on the co-branded tongue label. The exclusive pair will be available for ~£225 from Diadora and Hanon on the 12th of September.
