As he appeared on Capital Breakfast this week, Manchester’s Aitch has revealed that he was scouted for the hit ITV show.
Discussing how many verified Instagram users has slid into his DM’s, Aitch revealed there’s a few as he told Capital: “There’s a couple of blue ticks in there, I’m not gonna lie.”
Aitch went on to reveal a few of those blue ticks are former islanders, revealing that he’d actually been asked to go on the show. As he spoke on his decision to give it a swerve, Aitch said: “I’ve not got the body! Obviously, it would have been funny. I didn’t think about it. It was a no straight away, but it would have been very funny.”
When he was quizzed about the islanders in his DM’s he refused to spill as he “wouldn’t like to put someone on blast like that.”
