Manchester’s Aitch has teamed up with YouTube to deliver a special live performance of his EP, Polaris.
The performance from Aitch will make use of YouTube’s Super Chat which enables viewers to pay to pin their comments on live streams. Aitch has announced the proceeds from the performance will be donated to black organisations such as The Reach Out Project, Bold Women Win Big and the Black Ticket Project.
Announcing the live stream earlier today, Aitch said: “Tonight I’m holding a special live stream performance with @youtubemusic – I am the first UK artist to take part in their Superchat and in light of the recent events & continued oppression against the black community, I want to use this platform correctly.
“All my proceeds from this stream will be equally split between the listed black organisations below – all of which are charities supporting young black people. I stand in solidarity with the black community. Black Lives Matter.”
Aitch’s Super Chat show comes just days after the release of his brand-new Polaris EP.
