AJ Tracey has dropped news on a sequel tape to Secure The Bag.
The west London artist hinted at the project in a tweet earlier today, where he announced he was taking a break from social media, writing: “im gonna take a break from the net […] i recorded secure the bag 2 btw […] love.”
Released in 2017, Secure The Bag 2 was well received by AJ fans following its release, with many expressing their excitement at the news of a sequel in the replies.
Features on the first Secure The Bag tape included the likes of 67, JME, Denzel Curry and the legend Craig David. The sound of the ’17 tape also hold a very versatile sound, hitting different sub-genres and feels through each individual track.
Taking into account that these names were brought on board for the first tape, along with the success and well-rounded sound of the original tape, the sequel will be one to watch, especially since AJ has gained even more traction around the world since the last release of the first tape.
Unfortunately we don’t currently have any news on a release date for the new project but hopefully fans won’t have to wait too long before he’s back online and ready to drop the project.
