This year’s XXL Freshman Class is expected to arrive soon but it looks like the list may have already leaked online.
The XXL Freshman list for 2020 appears to have surfaced online after a Twitter user posted a photo of an alleged XXL document titled “FINAL DRAFT”, alongside the word “CONFIDENTIAL” in red next to a list of up and coming talent.
The annual XXL Freshman Class has a reputation for highlighting rappers expected to have breakthrough years and the reported leak of this year’s list has picked up traction because of the emerging talent included.
As well as featuring artists such as Doja Cat, Pop Smoke and Polo G, the alleged 2020 Freshman list also suggests the official publication date for this year’s class will arrive on March 5th.
However, at the moment, XXL Magazine have not confirmed the Freshman Class for this year so we’ll have to wait for the official announcement.
