Florida police are searching for a two-year-old boy who was grabbed by an alligator and dragged into water near Disneyland Orlando on Tuesday.
The boy and his family were on the shoreline of the Seven Seas Lagoon in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Orlando when he was dragged away. The resort is a luxury resort owned by Disney, nearby the Magic Kingdom Park.
His father went into the water to try and take him from the alligator, local Sheriff Jerry Demings said. Currently, fifty police wildlife experts are searching for the boy.
The family came from Nebraska on a family holiday, and were relaxing near the shore of the lagoon when the incident happened at 21:16 local time, 1:16am GMT.
