Drawing inspiration from the music that filled her childhood home, the project embodies what she describes as “new-stalgia”—a fresh interpretation of classic R&B influences shaped by a distinctly modern perspective. Influences from icons such as Janet Jackson and H-Town are woven throughout the record, reimagined through the grit, energy and cultural richness of contemporary London.
