Meet the man who DJs with his eyes.
Bram Harrison, aka DJ Eye Tech, injured his brain in a motorcycle accident 18 years ago and suffers with something called ‘locked in syndrome’; which essentially means he is trapped inside his own body, unable to talk or move.
However Bram has not let his inability to communicate isolate him, the phenomenal man is a DJ on a community radio show in Exeter.
But how can he DJ with no movement or even speech to control the technology? The answer is an infra-red tracker on one eye, which selects letters and words on a screen.
DJ Eye Tech also uses this technology to go online, and produce music which he plays on his show.
Bram will feature in a new four-part series by Radio 1 celebrating digital creativity and innovation as a part of their Make It Digital season, starting on October 6th with Huw Stephens.
