The talented songstress that is Amber-Simone is back with a movie as she releases her short film Black, No Sugar.
Clocking in at nine minutes long, Miss Simone outpours all her soul as she gives us live renditions of three tracks – “Black, No Sugar”, “Interlude”, and “Potential”.
Sophie Jones directs the masterpiece which sees Amber-Simone in her vocal bag, setting the mood alongside her accomplished band with the powerful “Black, No Sugar”, before the interlude kicks in as Keahnne Whitby gives a solo saxophone performance.
Amber returns to end the show with her self-produced “Potential”, showing her artistry not only lies within her vocals!
The short-film serves as a preview to Amber-Simone’s new project, after last releasing a body of work in 2019, with her vibey For Those Moments EP.
