The conference will include panel speakers such as Alex Boateng (Island Records), Ben Homewood (Music Week), Charlotte Gunn (NME), DJ Target (BBC Radio), Jasmine Srih (Boiler Room), Laura Snapes (The Guardian), Olivia Nunn (Island Records), Mark Strippel (BBC Radio 1xtra), Parris Oh (RCA Records), Posty (GRM Daily) Amy Zing, Glyn Fussell (Sink The Pink), Ed Blow, and Jack Caldwell (The 1975, Wolf Alice).
29th March is Industry Day and will include discussions such as ‘Where Are All the Women Bosses’, ‘Where Are We Now? How Black British Artists Reclaimed the Charts’ and much more. The day will be followed by Next Generation Day on the 30th March where speakers will be involved in talks regarding ‘How Will The Female Voice Impact Rap Music in 2019?’, ‘Managing Your Future: The Managers That Changed The Game’ and more.
Speaking on the event, Annie Mac said: “I wanted to create discussions that I really wanted to hear, involving voices that I really want to hear from. The themes are all subjects I was personally keen to explore and we have meticulously chosen people in the industry who we think will bring a unique perspective to those discussions”.
The two-day conference will complement AMP’s unmissable live shows in which forty live music acts will play across fourteen different venues in London.
