Anthony Joshua will fight Kubrat Pulev on June 20, with the aim of defending his IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight championships from the mandatory challenger.
AJ spent much of his 2019 career abroad, losing to Andy Ruiz Jr in a New York upset but later winning a rematch in Saudi Arabia back in December. However, the Watford boxer will return to the UK when he fights Pulev in Tottenham this summer.
Promoter Eddie Hearn said: “I’m so excited to see Anthony Joshua return to the capital, 70,000 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is going to be very special”.
Pulev has lost just once in 29 fights so his match-up with AJ will definitely be one that pulls in viewers eager to see the outcome.
