Since the announcement of the tragic news that Donald Trump is to become the 45th President of the USA, the internet has been inundated with a myriad of different responses to this news. Of course the only good byproduct of this, is there have been some truly hilarious memes that have arisen as a result of the impending doom.
There have also been outbreaks of protests all across America, as people have been denouncing the President-Elect, with chants such as “Not my President, not today”.
However we live in the internet age, modern day protesters can show their disapproval from the comfort of their home, and that’s just what many dissatisfied citizens have been doing. New Balance recently announced their support of Trump shortly after his victory was officially announced, their Vice President of public affairs (surely former after this absolute howler) had hinted she felt things would be better under Trump than they had been during the Obama administration. This has of course sparked massive outrage amongst fans of the brand, and in protest they have posted pictures online of them destroying their trainers in a variety of different ways, including setting them on fire!
