Today (May 28), Apple released a new iPod Touch with A10 Fusion chip that will now support group FaceTime chats as well as its ability to perform twice as fast to the previous generation.
It is the first time the device has been updated since 2015.
The new iPod Touch will have the same battery life of around 40 hours of music playback and eight hours for video yet the new A10 Fusion chip will enable Group FaceTime and ARKit for the first time in iPod history.
The new chip will allow people to play the latest games and use the newest iOS features. The rest of the device is no different, yet the update is very much welcomed from users. The same six colours are available including grey, silver, gold, blue, pink, and red in support of the Global Fund.
It is available to order now on Apple.com and in Apple stores starting today.
