As iPhones have continued to evolve over the years, they have continuously grown in size, and reports suggest that the Apple conglomerate has no thoughts of slowing down.
Following a story from a Korean news site, ETNews, it has been spotted that Apple will be releasing three flagship phone models at its fall hardware event. This information has come from unnamed industry sources, and it is still possible that the predictions may still not happen.
According to the report from ETNews the smallest new “iPhone 12” will be 5.4 inches, the medium one will stay the same at 6.1 inches, and the largest of the bunch will be a whopping 6.7 inches – that’s just short of the same size as an iPad Mini.
Although the huge iPhones have been dubbed as the selling points by Apple, a smaller edition could also come into the works in 2020. This has been rumoured be an updated version of the iPhone SE. Its screen would be 4.7 inches and would be priced at a reasonable (for Apple standards) $399.
The report has also stated that all three phones will come with OLED screens, and that just one of the phones will come equipped with a chip which has the power of connecting to 5G networks.
As these are only reports, Apple are yet to officially announce if this is indeed a reality but with the rapid rate in which Apple has evolved over the years, it’s not hard to believe.
