Arsenal has won the FA Cup with a 2-1 victory over Chelsea.

Aubameyang takes his place as the star of the pitch as he sealed the team’s victory, scoring both goals.

This was Arsenal’s 21st appearance, which is a new cup record. To add to this record number, the team have won the cup a phenomenal 13 times.

The atmosphere of the game definitely took an unusual turn due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Crowds were not able to attend the game to spectate, making this the first cup final in 132 attempts to be crowd-less. This may have added to a more intimate feeling of victory, with the team’s excitement of winning being kept between the staff and the fellow players.

Former captain, Mikel Arteta, who lifted the cup with Arsenal back in 2014 has now also become the first person to captain and manage an Arsenal team that has reached an FA Cup victory.

A very respectable match considering the current situation surrounding COVID-19 and football.

Take in some highlights from the match below.
