After months of speculation and deliberation, it has now been announced that Arsene Wenger has officially signed a new contract with Arsenal.

Wenger and Gunners owner Stan Kroenke met yesterday to discuss his future with the club, before negotiating a brand new two year deal.

This will extend the Frenchman’s reign in North London to a whopping 23 years, should he honour the length of the entire contract.

Arsenal finished at a disappointing fifth place in the Premier League this season – their lowest positioning since Wenger joined in 1996 – but went on to win the FA Cup last week.

Fans have been split on the #WengerIn/#WengerOut debate for seasons now and opinions are sure to be polarising with this new announcement.

What do you think? Can Arsene Wenger make Arsenal great again or are the next two years set to be a flop?
