Over the years, rumours regarding a beef between A$AP Rocky and Travis Scott have surfaced on the net but now, Flacko has finally quashed that talk.
Yesterday (October 15), Rocky took to Twitter to publicly put an end to the hearsay related to him and Travis, writing: “THAT ME N TRAVIS BEEF SHIT SO PLAYED OUT, LET IT GO.”
The tweet from the Harlem rapper comes days after fans speculated lyrics he performed at the Rolling Loud Festival over the weekend were aimed at Travis Scott.
During the performance, Rocky rapped: “Please don’t compare him and me / You offending me /This ain’t a diss and we ain’t enemies / They concerned with making hits, I’m more concerned with making history”.
Speculation about a feud between the two has been present for years. In 2015, a fan reportedly mistook Travis Scott for A$AP Rocky to which Travis yelled “I’m not motherf***ing ASAP, b***h.”
But the pair have also been supportive of each other with Rocky publicly saying Travis makes “cool” music, while Travis Scott was among the long list of artists who were calling for Flacko’s release from Swedish prison earlier this year.
Now that A$AP Rocky has taken to Twitter to denounce having any issues with Travis, hopefully we can get a new collaborative effort from the two artists soon.
