Audemars Piguet has teamed up with Marvel for a brand new Black Panther collaboration watch worth over £118,000.

The Audemars Piguet x Black Panther is water-resistant up to 50 metres, has a sandblasted Titanium case and is powered by the Calibre 2965.

Honouring the Marvel character in every way possible, the luxury accessory comes complete with a large design of Black Panther which takes up most of the watch’s face.

The watch is expected to be just one of many Marvel and Audemars Piguet collaboration releases.

On the watch, the Swiss luxury brand described it as “rooted in ancestral craftsmanship and advanced technology” and “celebrating the Manufacture’s long-held values of tradition, innovation and family embodied by Marvel’s Black Panther character.”

Only 250 of these special edition watches have been made and one was sold at auction for £3.7 million ($5 million).

The watch was launched at a virtual event hosted by Kevin Hart which also saw Anthony Joshua, Serena Williams, LeBron James attend.

The money raised from the auction will help low income communities in America.
