Luxury watch brand Audemars Piguet have this week announced a new scheme that will see them replace customer’s watches that have been stolen for free.
It has become the first major brand in the industry to bring in such a rule, as it looks to counteract rising numbers of thefts across cities in Europe.
They will replace, repair or refund any watches bought in 2022 or 2023 that are lost, stolen or damaged for a period of up to two years.
The brands watches can cost anything upwards of £10,000, so this new scheme is sure to act as a guarantee for potential future buyers.
