Swedish singer AWA has blessed us with a new single titled “Shining Star”.
Serving as her second independent release, this track is a feel-good one centred around resilience and finding peace. Like the song, the visuals are uplifting and capture AWA in good spirits by the coast.
Taking to Instagram to speak on the song, AWA wrote: “What a journey, I’m so grateful I get to tell my story through my own words about turning pain into purpose and claiming that soft love we all deserve. And it truly starts with compassion and love for self.
“Healing isn’t linear, but who would’ve thought songs written at one point in my life would be so monumental and help me anchor in confidence, self love and growth continuously, a lot of time later. It’s such a beautiful reminder and positive mood uplifter this one and I hope it does the same for anyone listening!!”
