Ayar has returned to our speakers with his mellow, smooth sound with his latest EP, Keeping Up With The Neighbours.
With the EP stretching over six tunes and checking out just under the twenty minute mark, we take in a number of different stories and melancholic energies that you can really sit back and take in.
Opening with the delicate “Chases” we hear Ayar refer to the name of the EP, as he tackles a wavy instrumental with clever wordplay and slick punchlines. Fan favourite, “Puddles” comes in for track three as the starry instrumental takes over the smartly put together tune.
Track four, “Sovereign” takes on a more conscious approach as we hear Ayar switch flows effortlessly over the piano-sampled beat.
